CPCU Social at Drive Shack
Our group recently hosted a social at the Drive Shack in Raleigh, NC. Invited were new designees and students from the Risk Management and Insurance Program at East Carolina University. We had an excellent time socializing with current and upcoming insurance professionals while working on our golf swings! Good Works March 2021
On Saturday (March 6, 2021), our chapter sent 8 volunteers to the Eastern and Central North Carolina Food Bank to assist with hunger relief, as a result of the on-going Covid pandemic. Collectively, as part of the shift in which we participated, we sorted and bagged 17,577 pounds of sweet and white potatoes that will be shipped to different distribution centers (within 34 different counties) for families in need of food relief. We are honored to have been able to take part in this on-going effort!

The Green Chair Project - Good Works Update
Fall 2015
The Green Chair Project
On Saturday, November 23rd our chapter sent 6 volunteers to assist The Green Chair Project with their quarterly Grateful Living Porch Sale. Everyone had a rewarding experience in helping with duties including the staging of furniture (for sale to the general public, open only on a quarterly basis), receiving incoming donations while performing repairs and reconditioning of furniture.
