Good Works March 2021

Tuesday, June 29, 2021 - 07:34

On Saturday (March 6, 2021), our chapter sent 8 volunteers to the Eastern and Central North Carolina Food Bank to assist with hunger relief, as a result of the on-going Covid pandemic. Collectively, as part of the shift in which we participated, we sorted and bagged 17,577 pounds of sweet and white potatoes that will be shipped to different distribution centers (within 34 different counties) for families in need of food relief.  We are honored to have been able to take part in this on-going effort!
