Good Works 2013 Project (Food Bank)

Thursday, January 30, 2014 - 14:50
by Deane Tolman, Jr.

On Saturday, December 14th, the chapter hosted another Good Works project at the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina, located in Raleigh.  When we arrived, we were tasked with helping to sort, label and inventory over 11,000 pounds of canned yams.  A daunting task but yet one that was both festive yet rewarding.  We left with the knowledge that we played a small part in helping many less fortunate families have a brighter holiday season!
